A study of the execution capabilities of Piedmont's Manufacturing Sector

Projectize is currently undertaking a study among 650 manufacturing firms of Piedmont, Northern Italy titled "Current economic climate: a driver to improve efficiency - Study on execution capabilities of Piedmont Manufacturing Sector".

 

The latest publication of the Economic climate study of the Turin Chamber of Commerce (issue n° 154) outlines the top priorities of piedmont firm's currently are:

a) operation and supply cost reduction

b) being able to carry put the same workload with reduced resources (improve efficiency)

c) increase product range

d) increase product quality. In order to achieve such objectives it is vital to obtain high levels of performance in task and project execution

 

Projectize's study aims at defining strengths and weaknesses in Piedmont Firm's execution capabilities, particularly within the new product development and project execution areas.

Following the data elaboration process, results will be presented to participating firms during a series of round tables where executives will have a chance to confront their views with the results, and to discuss them with peers.

 

The report, integrated with feedback from the workshops, will be published in the first quarter of 2011.
